Today, we're thrilled to welcome Rachel Le Grand, one of our most beloved contributors, back to the Oliver + S blog. If you've been following along, you might recall her incredible work from past posts. Last summer, Rachel dazzled us with her two-tone Roller Skate Dresses in Liesl's color-blocking tutorial. Later, she showcased her flair for color-blocking in her tenth Fairy Tale Dress, walking us through her creative process step-by-step. In the fall, Kristin invited her to chat about her favorite Oliver + S pattern, and just this year, she came up with a clever way to transform our free Reversible Bucket Hat pattern into an adorable skirt for an 18-inch doll. We've always admired Rachel's talent and passion for sewing, so we're absolutely delighted to have her join us regularly here.
Hi everyone, I'm Rachel! I'm thrilled to be part of the Oliver + S community. My family and I live in Minnesota, where I spend my time chatting with fellow sewists in the forums as "nestfullofeggs" and sharing my projects in the flickr group as "saganaga."
I thought it would be fun to share a few quirky tidbits about myself. I began sewing with Oliver + S patterns back in December 2009. Interestingly, both my creations and those of Oliver + S have been featured in The BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook. If I were an Oliver + S paper doll, I’d definitely choose the School Photo Dress. Coincidentally, I share the same initials as Ralph Lauren, and I can't imagine life without my dark chocolate sewing snacks!
I'd love to hear from all of you—what do you enjoy most about the Oliver + S blog? Are there any new ideas or topics you'd like to see covered here in the future? Drop your thoughts in the comments below—I’d love to connect with you!

As always, thank you for being such an inspiring and supportive community. Stay tuned for more exciting content from Rachel and the rest of our team!
