Laura and Saara from Named Patterns have been incredibly productive lately, and we're thrilled to finally share their latest work with all of you. Their new Fall-Winter 2014 collection, titled "Ritual," is now officially launched, and we couldn't be more excited about the ten new digital patterns we've added to our collection.
If you take a look at the images below, you'll notice something quite unique—these are the first photos featuring wolves to ever grace the Oliver + S blog. Click on any of the images to get a closer, high-resolution view.
The inspiration behind the Ritual collection stems from the rich tapestry of Native American culture, including their traditional clothing, cultural practices, and fascinating myths. The simplicity of the designs, along with their earthy materials and intricate cuts, sparked Laura's and Saara's curiosity about Native American attire. This curiosity eventually led to the development of this captivating collection.
To give you a better idea of what the collection looks like in action, the team has put together an inspiring look-book. You can access it by clicking through to read the full post.
Ritual stands out as the most ornate collection from Named Patterns yet. It challenges sewists of every skill level to experiment boldly with unique fabrics and colors. The collection encourages creativity and active participation in the design process, allowing individuals to personalize the garments based on their preferences and abilities.
For a closer look at each of the ten new patterns, visit the Named Patterns section of the Oliver + S shop. Whether you're a seasoned seamstress or just starting out, this collection offers endless opportunities to create something truly special.
As always, feel free to explore further and let us know what you think!
