DuPont launches four new fabrics using polymers as raw materials

DuPont Co., Ltd. uses Sorona polymer as raw material to introduce four new fabrics: Sorona permanent woven fabrics, comfortable elastic woven fabrics, dynamic portable tannin fabrics, and special soft knitted fabrics.

Sorona Polymers is an environmentally-friendly product developed and produced by DuPont. It uses corn as a raw material and is a green polymer produced using advanced corn sugar fermentation biotechnology.

Sorona's permanent woven fabrics allow the garments to return to their original shape. The wrinkle-removing technology in the polymer smooths wrinkles by hand.

Sorona's comfortable and elastic woven fabric can fully meet the elastic requirements of bending, stretching and other actions in daily life without adding spandex, prevent fabric bulging and seams off the line, and the delicate and rich feel of woven fabrics. Not only does it make wearing more comfortable, but it also makes the clothing more quality.

Sorona's sporty tannins can be used to enhance the comfort of denim fabrics through ordinary weft or warp. It is particularly suitable for young people's fashion trends, because while maintaining the comfort and flexibility, weaving color yarns in the weft can create a colorful style. Sorona Extra Soft Knit fabrics utilize the "torsional" molecular structure of Sorona Polymers, which imparts the unique softness, warm feel and natural drape of circular fabrics.
