Beijing Bangwei Company "BW-Q nuclear radiation protective clothing" project passed the appraisal

On August 13, 2018, the China National Textile and Apparel Council organized an appraisal meeting for the “BW-Q Nuclear Radiation Protection Service” project undertaken by Beijing Bangwei Hi-Tech Special Textiles Co., Ltd. in Beijing. Expert Committee of Experts from the Institute of Chemical Defense Guo Dongfeng, Dean of Zhang Xingxiang, School of Materials, Tianjin Polytechnic University, Vice President of China Industrial Textile Industry Association Li Guimei, Director of the Rocket Army Research Institute, Jin Jinxing, Researcher Xiong Yifu, China Academy of Engineering Physics, Chemical Defense The general institute of the institute, Huang Qiang, and Sun Gen 404 Co., Ltd. Sun Gen, etc., Zhang Huiqin, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of China Textile Industry Federation, presided over the appraisal meeting.

The project has developed high-performance radiation protection materials for emergency and protection needs. Based on the ergonomics principle, the project has optimized the waist load-bearing, key parts protection and comfortable wearing hooded protective clothing, which has formed a high degree of engineering. The production line with stable quality has realized the localization of nuclear radiation protective clothing and can replace similar imported products. The project completed the task book requirements, and the expert committee unanimously agreed that the project passed the appraisal, and recommended to further improve the use scenario research for different use needs.
