During the Qingming holiday period, PTA and MEG prices remained stable. The price of semi-gloss polyester chips rose slightly, while large bright polyester chips saw an upward trend. CDP slice prices also increased, and polyester bottle chip prices followed suit. Acrylic staple fiber (1.5D × 38mm) and acrylic tops (3D × 102mm) experienced some price adjustments. CPL and nylon 6 slice prices remain stable for now.
The overall polyester market continues to show an upward trend, with prices following the market momentum. The FDY 63D / 24F slice spinning price has seen a slight increase. From the current market perspective, some polyester filament manufacturers still face supply constraints. Considering demand and cost factors, the market is expected to maintain a slight upward trend.
All cotton yarns remain stable in price. Blended yarns, such as polyester-cotton and polyester-viscose blends, are also showing little change in pricing. Cotton yarns have not seen significant fluctuations. Viscose staple fiber prices remain temporarily stable. Recently, the polyester yarn market has improved, with pure polyester yarns (21s, 32s, 50s) rising by ¥100–200/ton. Polyester staple fiber prices have increased by about ¥50/ton compared to pre-holiday levels.
